Nestled in the snugness of Muir Beach are myriad compositions made by the relentless, creative energy of wind, tide, and wildlife. LIke prolific and restless artists, the forces at work here are never done. They churn, erase, and recreate anew. One could visit Muir Beach a thousand times and forever see something fresh in the tiny vignettes and still life so delicately and consciously formed.

LIke the English version of Haiku; a poetic form that limits itself to 10-14 syllables, these images are limited to the bare essentials of visual form. The intent was to create a meditative body of work that feels like tiny riddles of life.
