La Macchina Fotografica is Mark's blog on tranformative art, life, and photography. Now comprised of some 200 posts and accompanying photographs, the blog is a snapshot of a daily mood and reaction to selected photos from Mark's large archive of photographic images.
The purpose of the blog is really no purpose at all. It's a vehicle to tie word and image, thought and feeling, and disparate images together into an oddly, cohesive body of work. The gallery presented here is an attempt to showcase some of these images on their own, as a body of visual work without the accompanying essays. Called Blog Streams, it is the distilled result of a long-term relationship with a photographic stream of consciousness.
